Who We Are

We are four workers and organizers with backgrounds in the climate nonprofit sector, the labor movement, and state-level politics. Caitlin, Danny, and Meg co-founded and are workers at Breach Collective (Breach), a unionized, worker self-directed nonprofit organization that supports grassroots campaigns in the climate and labor movements. Isabel is a Communications Workers of America (CWA) organizer who supports workers at nonprofits and ski patrols in their organizing efforts. She is also a founding member and former leader of the Political Workers Guild of Colorado, a first-of-its-kind union of political workers.

The four of us have firsthand experience unionizing and participating in unions within our own workplaces, and have helped hundreds of workers in nonprofits and other sectors organize their organizations, assert their rights, secure union representation, and win a union contract. The content and resources offered in the handbook come from our own experiences.
